Facilities

Family Promise utilizes a restored historic home as its Day Center, with staff offices as well as a home atmosphere for the families served.

Hope House

Hope House - Day Center

Built in 1909, Hope House is the third oldest house in the City of Lubbock, and is one of the only significant Victorian Houses presently located in Lubbock.

Hope House

Hope House was donated to Family Promise by the City of Lubbock and moved from the North Overton redevelopment area to 1511 Ave M.

During the day, parents who are not working utilize Hope House to shower, do laundry, care for pre-school and ill children, seek work and meet with the case manager.

The Day Center provides guests with a phone line, a mailing address, child care, and a base for counseling, training, housing and employment searches.  Hope House offers a homelike environment to serve families and children during the day.

Promise House

The Promise House is where the families that enter our program stay. Each family has separate bedroom space for themselves. Together they share the bathrooms, kitchen, and living space.
