Hope House: We are in the
process of securing funding to renovate Hope House, formerly
known as the historic Benson House. Hope House (pictured in
the upper left corner of this page) was donated to Family
Promise by the City of Lubbock and moved from the North
Overton redevelopment area to 1511 Ave M. The renovation
will provide a dedicated family day center designed
specifically to meet our families’ needs and allow Family
Promise the room to expand its counseling and education
programs. Programs will expand to include formalized
computer training, financial literacy, fiber optic cabling
installation and healthy cooking classes for both children
and adults.
