Doug Morris is a proven leader of successful non-profit organizations. Past experiences include being the first Executive Director of High Point Village and Vice President of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce. He served the Church of Christ as a Youth and Family minister for over 20 years. “I was drawn to Family Promise of Lubbock because of its dedication to helping families with children break the bonds of homelessness by providing employment assistance, case management and a temporary home, until they can achieve self-sufficiency.” He is married and has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Doug is also the Vice President of the South Plains Homeless Consortium.

Keely is a recent graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. Keely began as a Family Promise volunteer through Lakeridge United Methodist Church. As Keely worked on her degree in Human Development, she completed her internship with Family Promise, and then joined us as a full-time case manager. She does a great job with our families, and her work with Family Promise is invaluable!

Elpidia became involved with Family Promise in 2011 as a volunteer for her Church, St. John Neumann. Her passion for serving the homeless population led her to officially join the Family Promise Staff on November 2013, as the Volunteer Coordinator. Elpidia's 30+ years experience in working in the nonprofit sector has given her invaluable insight and knowledge on planning volunteer events, group projects and working with the community to meet the needs of the Organization. Elpidia is quoted as saying, "It is only with the help of committed volunteers that we are able to continue our vision of ending homelessness one family at a time. Together, we can make a difference!"

Terri has worked in administration for over 40 years. "I immediately wanted to be a part of Family Promise. I love how this organization helps to enrich the lives of families and provides tools to help educate and empower both parents and children who are participating in the program.” Terri enjoys crocheting, music and arts-in-education endeavors. She is the mother of two grown daughters and has 6 grandchildren.
Bob Mize - Chaplain
Bob Mize has been in pastoral work for 53 years, currently serving as a corporate chaplain for a Lubbock business. Bob volunteers his time to Family Promise of Lubbock and offers counseling of families upon request of the family. He and his wife, Charlotte, have three grown children and five grandchildren.
